Our goal has always been to understand our clients vision and then to build experiences as an extension of their brand. We work tirelessly to execute highly unique events that give our clients a singular identity and clearly amplify their message above all of the noise and clutter in the market.
A Celebration in the Socials Sphere
In November of 2017 Living the Dream Unlimited had the honor of producing, directing, writing, and designing the first annual Revolve Awards in partnership with the creative teams at Revolve Clothing. LTDU worked to actualize the brand's intention to build "an annual celebration of the creativity, collaboration and innovative talent that defines the Revolve community... celebrating the year's most revolutionary talent in the influencer, fashion, music spheres." An all star lineup of fashion and beauty bloggers, stylists, designers, and artists were hosted at The Dream Hotel in Hollywood CA where talent was honored for their contribution to the digital and fashion spaces. This elegant project called for a complete transformation of the exterior entry and poolside rooftop space into a stunningly chic and theatrical environment created by LTDU and live streamed to millions of viewers at home.
East Meets West
The MadeWorn x Roc96 collaboration celebrates the 20th anniversary of Jay Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt. To launch the capsule collection with the e-commerce powerhouse, Revolve Clothing, LTDU transformed the brand's Melrose Avenue Social Club into an experiential metaphor. Drawing on both the L.A. based label’s vintage-band-merchandise aesthetic and the album-inspired graphics from the legendary mogul’s NY brand, we brought East to West by way of a three story summer snowstorm, which wowed party goers and drew in curious crowds from up and down Melrose Ave.
A Look Back for A Comeback
When Guns n' Roses decided to kick off their reunion tour with a secret free show at the Troubadour nightclub in West Hollywood, they didn't want to simply hand out tickets, they wanted to treat their most diehard fans to a spectacular event. With the help of Blaine Halvorson and the incredible talent at MadeWorn, LTDU created and curated a completely immersive experience that transformed the infamous Tower Records building into a 1980s dive bar complete with the sights and smells you would expect to find at any real rock and roll club. The room served to transport fans back to the Sunset Strip of old and to display some truly iconic GNR memorabilia. From Slash's top hat to Axl's infamous sneakers to Duff's GNR pinball machine, fans got a chance to get up close and personal with items from the band's personal collection. The experience included a real ticket booth where guests could pickup passes to the historic Troubadour show, unique video installations, and culminated with fans rocking out to Guns n' Roses' biggest hits all in a space that felt like it was straight out of the band's heyday.
Finding Clarity In The Static
Living The Dream Unlimited partnered with Dim Mak Collection and Williamson PR for the North American pre-launch of their, "Noize" clothing line. At The Seventh Letter Gallery in Los Angeles, LTDU created an opportunity for Dim Mak to display their Fall '16 collection while also paying homage to the visions and sounds that first inspired the Dim Mak label and it's founder, Steve Aoki. First, the LTDU scenic team transformed a 44 by 15 foot wall and 75 white DMC T shirts into a blank canvas where the LA street artist, Drew Merritt, could execute his vision. The final product was a dramatic floor to ceiling mural that had guests in awe when the artist used a fire extinguisher to complete the piece in front of the live audience. With a little bit of LTDU magic, the gallery was transformed again into an adrenaline fueled concert featuring originators of the New York Hardcore scene, Gorilla Biscuits. LTDU then launched the final incarnation of this event by transforming the gallery into a pop-up shop where members of the public could purchase pieces from the line, as well as the 75 unique T shirts bearing portions of Drew's mural.
Revealing A Car Of Concepts
Faraday Future made their debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and LTDU was there to introduce them to the world. On a fifteen acre property at MGM Village on the Vegas strip, LTDU built an experience from the ground up that was centered around the reveal of the FFZERO1: Faraday's first, highly connected, electric vehicle concept. Inspired by the work of visual artist James Turrell, LTDU employed specialized lighting techniques to create a "Ganzfeld" effect which creates the illusion of depth perception. With LED and Projection screens, Custom Scenic Fabrication, and 180 degrees of 3D mapping, LTDU created an immersive presentation with the FFZERO1 at it's core. This event was broadcast live, worldwide, and in multiple languages. Within two hours of FF's spectacular brand launch they were trending all over the world.
